- Chopped vegetables in a tomato-based sauce with shredded cheese with sliced or diced cucumbers.
- Parmesan-crusted pasta and cauliflower florets (add the cauliflower florets to the pasta water during the final 4-5 minutes of boiling) with diced chicken and dried fruit.
- Macaroni and cheese made with butternut squash and served with applesauce.
- With steamed veggies, peas, and chopped cooked ham, chicken or sausage, you may make boxed macaroni and cheese.
- Ravioli with Pasta Sauce (or Alfredo, or any favorite sauce) served with steamed zucchini and/or an orange for a fast and easy dinner!
- Cook the gnocchi in the pasta water with peas, sliced broccoli, or even shredded carrots to add flavor to the sauce (or Alfredo or another preferred sauce).
Healthy lunch meals for toddlers
In only a few minutes, you can prepare a delicious kids lunch in a pan using cheese and tortillas (either wheat or corn, depending on your desire). I usually cook mine in a lightly oiled cast iron pan over medium-low heat for 2-4 minutes on each side, depending on how big they are. Using a heat-resistant spatula, gently flip the pancakes.

- Quesadilla with Banana Nut Butter. Warm two tortillas in the microwave for a few seconds, then sandwich them together with nut butter and sliced banana.
- Chicken, corn, and cheese are the main ingredients. Cubed leftover chicken or rotisserie chicken, frozen corn, and shredded cheese are used to make quesadillas for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
