Jump to Recipe

Here is a delicious and healthy recipe of Spanish Tomato Spread made on the Thermomix

“Tumaca” is a Tomato spread used in the famous “Pan tumaca” (bread with tomato) and “Pan con Jamon” (bread with tomato and ham).
It is traditional from Catalunya but is used all across Spain. It is a Mediterranean healthy food full of vitamins and nutrients.
Here I leave you a natural variation in the Thermomix that will become an excellent complement for your breakfast.
Tumaca is excellent served with toasted bread or a baguette.

If you do not enjoy too much garlic you can use garlic powder which is less powerful but still has some taste.

Remember to completely remove the hard part of the tomato using a paring knife.
